Festive Jam featuring Zap and The Milkshakes

Thursday 28 December 2017
20:30 at Yantra Hall

Settle in for an evening of festive entertainment at Yantra Hall. Kamalaya is pleased to welcome back two of its favourite acts, The Milkshakes and The Zap Show, whose eclectic music and vibrant performances promise a lively concert.
The Milkshakes
Soul surf meets reggae-esque vibes for this eclectic set from Australian Michael Harvey and Berlin-based Will Henderson. Will’s musical inspiration stems from a degree in guitar performance from Sydney Conservatorium, time spent in Peru and Andalusia studying flamenco styles, and dabbling in jazz, blues, surf rock, hip hop and Balkan music, which have all shaped the style of the band.

The Zap Show
The night gets even livelier with The Zap Show, a show of old school jazz and swing combine with tap dance, puppetry, squeaky toys, confetti, comedy and physical theatre for a performance that takes entertainment to new heights. Will Henderson takes to the stage once again with The Zap Show, an artistic collaboration between him, Greek percussionist Petros Tzekos on washboard, cymbals, bells and whistles, and Gabrielle Miller on vocals and ukulele. Drawing influence from American dancer and choreographer, Bob Fosse, New Orleans jazz icon, Louis Prima and skiffle music, the night will be an extravaganza of artistic and musical talent.

Complimentary for all Kamalaya Guests

Entrance fee is 300 Baht for Samui Residents and Vacationers
